What is the Board of Extension (BOE) and what does it do?

The Board of Extension (BOE) serves Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church in maintaining the grounds and fiscal interest of the campground, Church Home/Life Spring, and farm. The BOE is a subsidiary of Board Number 1. It currently consists of 15 members listed below. The BOE elects the members of the Board of Managers of Church Home/Life Spring which is responsible for the church’s healthcare facilities.

The Campground, cemetery and home for the aged were established in 1939 at our church’s headquarters in Perry, Georgia. Presently, on the Campground there are individual cabins as well as dormitory housing, a sanctuary, chapel, cafeteria, cemetery, playground, Youth Park, the pecan farm, and our LifeSpring Community. The LifeSpring Community is our healthcare campus focused on glorifying God through quality and compassionate care of seniors.

In addition, an annual week-long Camp Meeting is hosted on the Campground which is a gathering of our congregations throughout the Southeast. Camp Meeting begins the Saturday night before the third Sunday in July. The Campground is located on Highway 41, six miles North of Perry, GA. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The BOE is charged with maintaining all the building and lands and business interests of Campground. The tabs below contain more detailed information.
