SECURITY- The security of our folks on the Campground is an ongoing concern, and there have been some positive additions to help in this area.  More security cameras have been installed on the Campground.  A motorized cart has been purchased for year- round use.  Security officers will continue to be hired during Camp Meeting.  The safety of children on the campground continues to be a priority.  During Bible School, an officer is assigned to the Bible School chapel.  If there is a need to enter the Bible School chapel during Bible School, please speak to the officer first and he will contact someone to assist you.  At night, a second officer will be added to assist with security.  Please be courteous and show your appreciation for them.

SAFETY- To assist in an emergency, the Campground has been blessed with many people that work in the medical field who volunteer during Camp Meeting and the Work Program.  The Campground has medical equipment for use during an emergency, such as medical jump bags and two defibrillators.  If there is an emergency, please FIRST call 911 before contacting our medical volunteers.  If the situation is not an emergency, we encourage you to go to the local urgent care.

Motorized Carts: To operate a motorized cart on the Campground, it must be registered and the owner/ responsible party must sign a Hold Harmless Agreement.  A motorized cart need only be registered once.  Registry of new or rented carts will be held in the cafeteria during the following times: First Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of Camp Meeting: 1p.m.-2:30 p.m.

WEBSITE- Team of David Cosby, Shelly Bishop, Chip Bishop and Danny Collins are over the Website & Broadcast project. Lots of vision and oversight goes into this essential part of our Church ministry.

The website was updated and went live in 2022. Our main goal is Outreach — to help get the gospel out to others. It is an ongoing process to update and keep the website relevant for our members and viewers.

BROADCAST- all our congregations are broadcast under the main umbrella of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church at sanctifiedchurch.org. Each congregation is it’s own entity but activity linked to “The Church”, thus giving our church a higher presence in Google. Most of the broadcasts are on Congregation website and also YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.  The link “Join Us” is a listing of broadcast congregations and times of services. This is a valuable tool to help anyone connect to a broadcast service quickly and easily.

DIRECTORY- The goal for new Directories is to have them available before Campmeeting. A change in the database that stores Directory information has created some challenges that have been difficult to work through. The database is not only a place to store member information, but also is a tool for communicating and keeping in touch with our members.

TIDINGS- A team is in charge of printing and distributing quarterly publications with inspirational articles from our congregation members. They are also available on the website under Media Hub.

CLIP OF THE WEEK- A team is in charge of reviewing Church services from Campmeeting, Feastmeetings and other services and selecting sermons on topics that are inspirational. These clips are available on the website under Media Hub and also on Social Media. They are good to share with acquaintances that are not a part of our Church.

SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM- A team is busy posting events, inspirational messages, scripture, and other posts that bring attention to our Church and our message of Holiness. The main Social Media outlets are Facebook and Instagram.

TESTIMONIALS- A recent project is video testimonials of Church members of various ages talking about their experiences, how they sought God, what God has done for their life, their daily walk, etc. They are extremely inspiring to all ages. Parts of these Testimonials are used in outreach clips for Campmeeting, Bible School, Feastmeetings, and other events.

LIFE SPRING COMMUNITY- God has truly blessed our LifeSpring Community the past few years. Through the Covid years we have been so fortunate to be able to avoid so many concerns others have had to deal with in our industry.  We have officially rebranded our healthcare campus to be known as LifeSpring Community. Our legacy long-term care facility will continue to be known as Church Home. Supportive short-term care will be offered in Jacob’s House. Meaningful memory care will be provided in Grace Garden. As you may see when you enter the campground from the south, Grace Garden is nearing completion.  Lord willing, by November 1, 2023, Grace Garden will open as a personal care home focused on memory care residents.  This has been a need in our congregation and surrounding community for many years and we are thankful to finally minister to those with this growing need. Grace Garden is unique in its intentional layout and design, its household model style of care, and its creative activity content and resident engagement. Our healthcare campus continues to be one of the highest rated facilities in middle Georgia. We recently were recognized by the American Healthcare Association with the Silver Quality Award – one of only 63 facilities recognized nationwide in 2023 at this level.

More about LifeSpring Community

PECAN ORCHARD- As you may have seen, there are new trees planted over the past couple of years in our orchard fronting Hwy 41 with an additional 100+/- acres planted in the old peach orchard area.  This is part of a seven to ten year plan to convert to newer, higher producing trees.  We and the pecan farmer have invested a good amount of money in new wells, irrigation, and the new trees with our new farmer signing a 40 year lease in 2019.

LOT USE- It is always encouraging to engage with families that desire a “cabin on the Campground”.  This past year has seen a lot of interest in cabin and lot availability.  We currently have a list of several lots that are available for use and cabins seem to transfer as soon as they become available.  As Campmeeting quickly approaches please know that RV parking/storage is only available within the RV park, contact Janet Bishop @ 404-886-5918.  Please contact Joe Woods if you have interest and/or questions about having a place on the Campground.

The CEMETERY is and will continue to be experiencing a major renovation during the next few years.  Phase One of the renovation has been completed:  the landscaping was re-graded, and a good quality sod was installed.  Many of the memorial stone concrete runners were either replaced or repaired.  Phase Two will involve planting new trees and shrubs.  Phase Three will involve removing and replacing the roads in the cemetery.  To support this ongoing project, donations to the Cemetery Beautification Fund are encouraged.  This fund supports the maintenance and improvements in the cemetery.  Please note, this fund is not associated with the Burial Fund, which helps solely with the burial expenses of its members.

FUNERALS- The loss of a loved one is devastating for families, some of whom have never experienced it before.  There is a team of volunteers in the church to assist families during this difficult time.  It is VERY important that either a family member, or the minister who will be officiating, call Brother Ronnie Barnes at 770-318-8140, before finalizing any plans.  Brother Ronnie will be able to give you the necessary contact information to assist with funeral preparations, and make sure that there are no conflicts with scheduling a date for the funeral.

The BURIAL FUND continues to be a blessing for the members of CSHC church.  If you are a member of the Burial Fund, it is important that you and your family familiarize yourself with the “Conduct of Funerals” document, so that you are aware of the church’s guidelines regarding funerals.  If you do not have a copy, or need any other information regarding the Burial Fund, please contact your local church’s Burial Fund representative.

YOUTH PROGRAMS- During Campmeeting and all year long, there are many places for the children to gather at the campground.  The Tot Lot in the cafeteria is intended for children under 6 years of age to play.  The playground next to the chapel is used during Bible School and for children 2-6 years of age. The Youth Park is a meeting place for our young people.  This gives them a safe place to gather and fellowship.

BIBLE SCHOOL is hosted by different congregations each year during our annual Campmeeting for children ages 4-12.  These children spend the week learning various stories from the Bible and about God’s plan of salvation. Over the past several years, many policies have been implemented, such as children’s registration and volunteer background checks, to help ensure the safety of everyone.  This year’s Bible School theme is  “I Feel Like Traveling On” and is hosted by the Chesapeake congregation.  The hosting congregation for 2024 will be Wilmington and Jacksonville and 2025 will be hosted by Between and Leesburg.  Register your child today.

STEPHEN’S FUND has a mission to provide financial assistance to those who truly have such need within our church family.  The fund is managed by a team of 3 appointees, and is ultimately governed by the Board of Extension.  There is no formal application, but rather just a notification to the Board of Extension that someone in our church family requires or requests help.  Account activity for the past fiscal year was not overwhelming for our church, so please remember that all should feel free to donate or to make requests for funds if needed.  Please “….remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)

THE YOUNG PEOPLE’S WORK PROGRAM (YPWP) is tasked with providing a fellowship opportunity for our Young People by laboring with their hands at our Camp Ground campus.  Most efforts are focused on the 3 day work program during the annual Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend.  The Weekend generally provides opportunity for our Young People to work on the grounds, have Bible Studies, attend church, and to enjoy fellowship with God’s people.  The program is run by managers under the age of 40, and recently has enjoyed continued success under the guidance of Bro. Patrick Collins.  Bro. Derek Robuck will now take the reins for the next 4 or 5 year term.  Please offer support to Bro. Derek and the YPWP, and include on your schedule the Thanksgiving 2023 YPWP.
