Cabins and Property

LOT USE – If you are interested in buying or selling a cabin, contact Joe Woods for the next step. If you have a lot or an unused cabin, we ask you to consider making it available to others who would like a place on the Campground. To help maintain the continued safety of the Campground, all lot use applicants will go through a background check.

CAMPGROUND PUBLIC DOMAIN – To build a cabin or make structural changes on the Campground, contact Bro. Mike Gray for approval. All building permits are obtained by the Church. They cannot be obtained by any individual. Before receiving a permit, submit a plot plan and house plan to the Board of Extension (BOE) via Bro. Mike Gray.

Bro. Mike Gray oversees new developments on CSHC property and acts as the liaison between CSHC and Houston County. The Church operates its sewer treatment plant for cabins and buildings on the Campground north of Living Way. Sewage for the Nursing Home side is managed by the City of Perry through a pump station.

The Campground has a single main water meter and maintains its water system, sourcing water from Houston County. Cabin owners must remember to turn off their water at the meter or cabin cutoff when leaving to prevent unnecessary expenses due to running toilets, dripping faucets, or frozen pipes. Support is available for those unable to cover water and sewer bills. Reach out to Bro. Mike if assistance is needed.
