You’re Invited to Celebrate

Christmas

At Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church

You and your family are invited to celebrate Christmas this year at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church! We offer multiple events and worship service times to help you celebrate this special time of year. Whether you have been a churchgoer or you’re just starting your faith journey, we created several special events just for you!

Why We Celebrate Christmas

It’s easy to not feel good around the holidays. We feel stressed spending money we may not have on things we may not like for people we sometimes find challenging to be around. It’s easy to get caught up in the “trimmings and the trappings” of the holiday. We sometimes wonder if there’s a deeper meaning to Christmas – we want for it to mean so much more.

And the good news is, the Bible tells us it does!

Christmas is about God’s Love

The Bible tells the story of God’s great love for people. Out of His unimaginable love for us, God offered a bright new world to men and women. Unfortunately, men and women chose to turn away from God. We see evidence of it on the news every single night.

Instead of giving up on people,
God delivered good news!

The good news is that God has a plan. He sacrificed his own Son for the world as a beacon of hope. Jesus is God’s Son, sent into the world to pave the way for every single person on earth to experience new life. Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus.

This is the story of Christmas — the birth of Jesus Christ

Live Nativity

Please join us on Saturday, December 9th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm for our Annual Live Nativity featuring a donkey, a cow, goats, and sheep. Drive through or park and stay a while to experience the acapella singing while viewing the live nativity. We invite you to enjoy some hot cider and hot chocolate and this year we will also be hosting a petting zoo!

Christmas Program

Enjoy the story of the birth of Jesus Christ presented by our children’s program on Sunday, December 10th at 6 pm. Children are excited at Christmastime and are so excited to share the Good News of great joy – the birth of Jesus Christ! Refreshments are served in the fellowship hall immediately following the program. Come be encouraged by the enthusiasm of the Christmas program.

Christmas Eve Service

Saturday, December 24, 2023 at 5 pm. This simple, beautiful service focuses our attention on the real meaning of the season. We read from the Scriptures, sing favorite carols of Christmas acapella, and reflect on Jesus’ entry into the world. During the service, the lights are dimmed, the room is filled with candlelight, as we sing “Silent Night.”

Maybe this is your yearly tradition or maybe it can become a new tradition to start this year. Either way, we hope to see you on Christmas Eve.

What to Expect

Arriving at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church

When you arrive at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church for our Christmas Eve service, enter the building and there is a board showing you to the Fellowship Hall. If you have children, we want them to be a part of the service as well so as you enter, feel free to sit wherever you’d like.

When you arrive for Bible Study, there are children’s classes for newborn through teenagers. Adult classes are provided by seasons of life, and someone will be there to help you figure out where you belong.

When you come for a regularly scheduled worship services, enter the building and look for the signs to the sanctuary. There are three doors in which to enter the sanctuary, one for the middle aisle or one to the left or right for the side aisles. Feel free to sit wherever you’d like.

Worship Service

Our worship services begin with acapella singing and prayer. Many people sing along, so feel free to participate if you feel comfortable. During the service, there will be a lot of singing interspersed by some sharing their personal testimonies, which may be simply sharing a verse or sharing of an experience in which God carried them through.

A preacher will share a lesson from the Bible and will bring the service to an end with an alter call for those who want to seek the Lord or have a burden. By the way, there is no offering plate passed around during any of our services so don’t think you missed anything.

Children are a welcome part of any of our services, so we are used to a little extra noise from time to time. We have church toy bags available or nursery can be arranged through the Tell Us You’re coming form below.
